The Graduate Teacher Performance Assessment (GTPA) Standards & Moderation Project Team has been awarded the 2018 Vice-Chancellor’s Medal for Excellence.

The team, including Professor Claire Wyatt-Smith, Dr Lenore Adie, Ms Peta Colbert, Professor Michele Haynes, Dr Anna Du Plessis, Professor Joce Nuttall, Professor Joy Cumming and Mr Alex Chen, were awarded the medal at the 2018 Vice-Chancellor’s Staff Excellence Awards Ceremony at the Peter Cosgrove Centre in North Sydney on 18 October.

Professor Michelle Haynes, Ms Peta Colbert, Dr Lenore Adie, Vice-Chancellor Professor Greg Craven, Professor Claire Wyatt-Smith, Dr Anna Du Plessis and Mr Alex Chen.

The team was recognised for working in a significant research partnership to build, for the first time, an evidence base of preservice teachers’ classroom readiness.

During the ceremony Vice-Chancellor’s Staff Excellence Awards were also presented to staff across five categories: Mission Excellence, Service Excellence, Excellence in Student Experience and Excellence in Research Partnerships.
