Aquinas Health Sciences building officially opened

The new health sciences building at the Aquinas Campus was officially blessed and opened on 7 April.


The St. Brigid Health Sciences Building at the Aquinas Campus in Ballarat was officially blessed by the Most Reverend Bishop Paul Bird CSsR  MA DD, Bishop of Ballarat and opened on Friday 7 April.

ACU’s newest building will primarily cater for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, which is now being offered at the Aquinas Campus. The building includes specialist physiotherapy laboratories, work spaces for students, tutorial rooms, general learning spaces, simulation rooms, a research lab and an observation room.

The blessing and opening of the building was hosted by ACU Vice-Chancellor Professor Greg Craven AO GCSG.

Event attendees also included: The Hon. Catherine King MP,  Federal Member for Ballarat and Shadow Minister for Health and Medicare; Mr Julien O’Connell AM, ACU Pro-Chancellor; Aquinas Campus Dean, Associate Professor Joe Fleming; and Professor Michelle Campbell, Executive Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences.
