Senate election for academic staff
News 19 FebruaryNominations are now open to appoint two members of our academic staff to the university Senate for a term ending in 2028.
Staff are advised of the following campus closures due to public holidays and University holidays over the Christmas and New Year period.
NSW: North Sydney and Strathfield campuses will be closed on Friday 22 December 2017 (transferred Bank Holiday) and re-open on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
Other states: Melbourne, Ballarat, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide campuses will be closed on Monday 25 December 2017 and re-open on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
Campus access
All campuses will be closed to staff from the 23 December 2017 until the 1 January 2018 (inclusive) with all buildings locked and secured. Security will be present on all campuses during business hours performing patrols and security checks. If for any unavoidable reason access to a building is required, please call the National Security Centre on (02) 9465 9052 who can assist you by contacting the local security officers.
Adjusted deadlines
Staff should be aware that University closure means that adjustments have been made to the normal deadlines in December and January to enable payments to staff and payment of supplier invoices. See the adjusted HR deadlines. See adjusted Finance deadlines.
