A message from the Vice-Chancellor Professor Greg Craven: After a period of growth over recent years, ACU is well on its way to realising its aspiration of being one of the most significant Catholic universities in the world. ACU’s achievements, and its momentum towards reaching strategic goals, are due to the continuous efforts of staff across all areas of the University.
ACU’s staff are at the heart of providing a transformative educational experience for our students. The efforts of our staff maintain ACU’s high standards of teaching and research, and are the bedrock of delivering excellent professional services. And that is why ACU runs the myVoice staff engagement at regular intervals - to capture the views of our people. myVoice asks for your feedback on ACU as a place to work and on a range of management practices. It forms part of ACU’s commitment to ensuring that staff input informs and supports ACU strategies and direction.
myVoice survey has been run since 2009, and allows us to see how we are tracking over time as an organisation and to identify areas for improvement. The results also allow ACU to benchmark against other Universities, and against industry more broadly.
This year, myVoice also invites feedback from casual and sessional staff. Your input is vital as the University continues to grow. I encourage you to read the stories on the myVoice website to see how myVoice feedback has driven changes at ACU.
ACU engages an independent research and consulting company, Voice Project, to administer myVoice. Voice Project collects your feedback confidentially through the survey and ensures that individual responses are unidentifiable in the aggregated results that are returned to ACU. The University-wide results from 2017 myVoice will be communicated back to staff at presentations on each campus mid-year. Leaders will also share organisational unit results with their staff, and work within their areas to develop relevant action plans.
Have your say
I encourage you to have your say in 2017 myVoice between 27 March and 7 April. Contribute to shaping the future of your University.
As a way of thanking you for your input, all staff who complete the survey will have an opportunity to enter a prize draw.
Look out for an email on 27 March, which will contain your invitation and a hyperlink to the survey.
