ACU celebrates International Women’s Day

Hundreds of ACU alumni, staff and students came together across ACU’s campuses yesterday in celebration of International Women’s Day.Breakfast and evening events were held across the Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Strathfield Campuses, joining in the global celebrations and recognising the contributions ACU women are making in the community.

The events were hosted by some of ACU’s most senior female staff and included thought-provoking panel discussions.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear from inspiring alumni including co-founder and Acting Principal of Sandridge School Sophie Fenton, co-founder and director of Indigenous creative agency ‘Gilimbaa’ Amanda Lear, Olympian and Paralympian Milly Tapper, children’s author Jodi Toering, and Chief Financial Officer of Opportunity International Karen Kandur.
