Are you an innovator?

At ACU we encourage the use of innovative technology enhanced learning (TEL) practices and tools to meet the changing needs and expectations of current and future students.

To support academics with innovation in TEL, the Innovation in Technology Enhanced Learning (inTEL) Advisory Group was established to provide leadership, guidance and support for TEL innovation initiatives at ACU.

The inTEL Advisory Group comprises of academics and representatives from across each Faculty and various organisational groups, meeting approximately six times a year.

One of the first initiatives of the inTEL Advisory Group has been to create supporting resources, tools and information to help academics:

• Shape their initial thinking around a potential TEL innovation in their unit or course and how it may benefit student learning
• Determine the level and type of support their TEL innovation may require
• Guide academics through an approved process for their TEL innovation.

"I have an idea, where do I start?”
Many ideas for TEL innovations may not require significant time, money or institutional resources and can be implemented into teaching and learning practices in the unit without the need to engage the inTEL Advisory Group.
