Celebrate Women's Health Week

The theme of 2018 Women’s Health Week is “It’s time to put yourself first’.  Research conducted by Jean Hailes highlights that the biggest barrier for women not maintaining a healthy lifestyle is lack of time. When it comes to health, many women are great at caring for others but often put themselves last.

So, it’s time to turn things around!  For women, the health of those you love starts with you and by investing more time in yourself, you’re better able to look after the ones you love and care about. During Women’s Health Week you are encouraged to put yourself first and make your own health a priority.

We are encouraging everyone (not just women!) to show their support and wear pink on Wednesday, 5 September in support of Women’s Health Week and post your photos on Workplace with the hashtag #myhealthfirst. The first 40 people to post using the #myhealthfirst hashtag will win a Jean Hailes pink elephant stress ball.

Don’t forget that you can access a recording of the Women's Wellbeing in Focus webinar until 14 September.  To register for the recorded webinar, click here.
