Improving IT Service - new IT Service Portal

As part of the ongoing commitment of Corporate Services to service excellence and continuous service improvements, the IT Directorate has launched a new IT Service Portal this week to improve how staff request and access IT services.

Features of the IT Service Portal

The new IT Service portal seeks to improve the staff experience when seeking IT assistance by providing one location available 24/7 for staff to access IT Services.   The IT Service Portal features:

  • visibility of your IT requests and their progress
  • access to more IT services
  • ability to download approved software
  • ability to search for information about popular IT queries
  • access to new instructional videos
  • visibility of IT announcements and outages
  • improved communication and response times to resolve IT requests
  • feedback mechanisms to inform continuous improvements to the portal.
