Don’t forget to register to attend a ‘Dealing with Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying’ Refresher Training workshop with sessions throughout January.
The University is committed to providing a safe and inclusive working and learning environment free from discrimination, harassment and bullying. All of us have a role in creating the environment we want to be part of and training is an important part of understanding our role.
The timeline for completing the training is 31 January 2018.
This training refreshes your knowledge about:
- what constitutes discrimination, harassment and bullying based on the relevant legislation and University policies
- your responsibilities in relation to discrimination, harassment and bullying
- responsibilities of managers and supervisors and the University in dealing with issues
- the options available to you to resolve concerns and complaints.
Completion/attendance will be recorded as a regulatory requirement.
If you are new to ACU, that is, commenced employment in the last 12 months, and completed all the E-essentials online modules as part of your induction, then you aren’t required to complete this training at this time, however you are welcome to attend.
