New features and services in Service Central

The Service Central portal is the place to start if you are seeking information or requesting services provided by IT, Properties and Facilities, HR, Finance, Marketing and External Relations, Legal, Governance, Office of Planning and Strategic Management and Student Administration.

Service Central keeps evolving in response to requests and feedback from staff, which has driven new features, services and information.

Reopening a request

One of the newest features is the ability for you to reopen your request if you don’t feel your request has been resolved or not resolved satisfactorily. When you receive the ‘resolution’ email, you can click on the link to provide feedback and/or click the ‘reopen’ button to provide the opportunity to resolve your request.  You will have five days to reopen your request.

The Service Central portal is a great place to ask any question you have about Corporate Services.  The Service Central Knowledge Base continues to expand and improve based on staff feedback, with the items below being the most recent additions:

  • Visit the Service Central portal to request a service.
  • Call the Service Central phone number on (07) 3623 7272 for assistance from a Service Central Officer between 7:30am to 6:30pm weekdays (Melbourne time).
  • Ask a question or make a service request via Live Chat in the Service Central portal.
  • Gain answers to FAQs via the on-line 24/7 Knowledge Base via the Service Central portal.
