ACU staff have access to a Domestic & family violence awareness webinar. This webinar raises awareness about this important issue and promotes positive intervention and where possible, preventative action.
The webinar also provides some practical tips on how to support employees who may be experiencing domestic violence.
Find out more information here.
The recorded webinar is available until 22 December.
This webinar is delivered by ACU’s Employee Assistance Program provider AccessEAP and was developed to support the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Please note that this is an external session delivered by AccessEAP and open to all AccessEAP employer organisations.
The December period can be a very busy time as we prepare for the festive season and it’s easy to become distracted with ‘to do’ lists, social events, and finishing work in preparation for a well-earned break.
These distractions can impact on our relationships with the people we care about most and we may find ourselves operating on auto-pilot to get through all the busy-ness rather than stopping to enjoy the time we spend together.
Find the balance between self-care and keeping positive connections to enjoy the December period through the Stay Calm and Connected Webinar.
This webinar will help participants to remain present and stay connected during 'the silly season' and incorporates tips to effectively manage stress, maintain healthy relationships and stay mindful during the holiday season.
Live webinar: Wednesday 11 December 11.00 - 11.30am AEDT

The recorded webinar will be available until 11 January 2020.
