A message from Chief Operating Officer Dr Stephen Weller.
Dear colleagues,
I’m pleased to announce that the next stage of the roll-out of Service Central will go live this Friday and give staff access to these additional services:
Upon go-live, Service Central will provide a single location where you can access and receive help with these services, as well as those already in Service Central provided by HR, IT, and Properties & Facilities. The roll-out of Service Central will be completed in May by the addition of the staff services provided by Student Administration.
You can make a service request by visiting the Service Central portal at any time, or by calling the Service Central phone number on (07) 3623 7272, between 7.30am and 6.30pm weekdays (excluding national public holidays).
As well as providing one location to access the range of Corporate Services, Service Central aims to enhance your service experience by enabling you to track the progress of all of your requests from one page in the portal. Your request can also be actioned by multiple business areas within Service Central, without the need for you to create multiple requests.
A searchable knowledgebase in the Service Central portal gives you easy access to service information, and is available 24/7 from any device. There are 900+ articles available to answer your frequently asked questions, and these are continually updated and improved based on your feedback. Over 65 new articles have been added over the last month which will help you to get your work done more easily and I encourage you to explore these here.
Your feedback is vital as we continue to expand and improve Service Central. You can share your experience and suggestions regarding our services, the knowledge base and any other aspect of Service Central via the feedback options at the bottom of the Service Central portal.
Nominations are now open to appoint two members of our academic staff to the university Senate for a term ending in 2028.
You’re invited to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates and participate in the upcoming graduation ceremonies held in Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.
