The end of year operating hours and close-down arrangements for Service Central and each of the Corporate Services directorates are outlined below.
Service Central
Service Central’s operating hours until 14 February 2020 are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Service Central will close at 1pm on Monday 24 December 2019 and reopen at 9am on Thursday 2 January 2020.
Office of Chief Operating Officer
The Office of the COO will close COB on Friday 19 December and reopen on Monday 6 January 2020. Dr Stephen Weller will be on annual leave from Thursday 18 December 2019 returning to the office on Monday 6 January 2020.
Human Resources
Human Resources offices will be closed in line with the University close-down dates.
The North Sydney HR office will be closed from 5pm on Monday 23 December 2019 and re-open on Thursday 2 January 2020.
All other HR offices will be closed from 3pm on 24 December 2019 and re-open on 2 January 2020.
Please note that during December, some deadlines for HR services (payroll, fixed-term contract expiry, recruitment etc) have changed.

Information Technology
IT support services will close on 24 of December at 5pm AEDT and re-open on Thursday 2 January at 8am for local campus support.
Operating hours of IT campus support from 2 January to 14 February 2020 are 8am to 5.30pm AEDT (Ballarat and Canberra 8am – 5pm). From 17 February 2020 the operating hours will be 7.30am to 6.30pm AEDT (Ballarat and Canberra 7.30am – 5.30pm). .
Finance
The Finance Directorate will close for the break as follows:

Properties and Facilities
The Office of the Director, Properties and Facilities will close at 5pm on Friday 20 December 2019 and re-open on Monday 6 January 2020.

Campus closures – buildings will be locked and secured as follows:
Security will be present on all campuses during business hours, performing patrols and security checks. If, for any unavoidable reason, access to a building is required, please call the National Security Centre on (02) 9465 9052 who can assist by contacting the local security officers.
Development and Capital Projects offices will close in all states on Monday 23 December, except NSW and ACT, which close on Friday 20 December 2019.
Office of General Counsel
Please note that the deadline for submitting matters requiring review has now passed (Friday 6 December 2019).
Legal services will be unavailable between Monday 23 December 2019 and Friday 3 January 2020. The Office of General Counsel reopens on Monday, 6 January 2020.
Student Administration
AskACU Contact Centre
From 2 December 2019 to 28 February 2020 (inclusive) the AskACU Contact Centre operating hours will be 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. On Monday 24 December, the AskACU Contact Centre will be open from 8am and close at 12pm for the Christmas holiday. The AskACU Contact Centre will reopen after the university close-down at 8am on Thursday 2 January 2020.

Marketing and External Relations
The Marketing and External Relations Directorate will close from 3pm on 24 December and will re-open on 2 January 2020.
As the Creative Services team is based at the North Sydney Campus, which is closed on 24 December, there will be no design services available on that day.
