Introducing the Indigenous knowings filter

In support of the Learning and Teaching Centre’s program to embed Indigenous knowings into the ACU curricula, the ACU Library is proud to introduce the Indigenous knowings Library search filter.

Over the past year, we have reviewed our print and electronic collections. Applying the criteria used in the ACU First Peoples Evaluation Tool, we have identified resources that support Indigenous knowledge and perspectives.

We have now added an option to Library search to help you easily discover these resources and use them in learning, teaching and research.

To apply the filter, simply enter your search terms in Library search. Scroll down in ‘Refine my results’ on the left and under the ‘Collection’ heading select ‘Indigenous knowings’ and apply the filter. (Hint: you won’t see the heading if your search produces no results.)
