News 24 JulyA message from Executive Dean of Health Sciences Professor Suzanne Chambers: Winter has so far been a season of future-thinking and action for the Faculty of Health Sciences.
ACU Collaborate Plus, the university’s business and innovation hub, launches its online Incubator Program workshop series for Semester 2 on the topic of Design Thinking.
This first workshop is designed to strengthen creative problem-solving techniques and the ability to redefine problems, to identify alternative opportunities.
The Launch Plus Incubator Program explores the key stages of starting a business, while helping individuals to develop entrepreneurial skills and create future career opportunities for themselves.
These workshops are a great opportunity for students, staff, and the broader community, and ACU Collaborate Plus welcomes you to share details with your networks. Future topics include ‘Developing and testing your business idea’, ‘How to start a side hustle in a recession’, ‘Business legal basics’ and ‘Setting up an online store’.
The Collaborate Plus hubs are also accepting new applications for their coworking spaces. The hubs are situated on the North Sydney and Strathfield campuses and are open to applications from anyone who is considering an innovative start up or developing a new business idea.
