The travel approval process at ACU has changed as the COVID-19 restrictions in states and territories ease.
From 1 December 2020, university-related domestic travel is permitted. You will need to obtain approval from the relevant member of the Senior Executive Group before booking travel for university business.
The Australian Government continues to have an overseas travel ban in place – although exemptions may be granted in certain circumstances. ACU will continue to follow Australian Government recommendations.
Where international travel for staff is deemed essential, these travel requests will require approval by Chief Operating Officer Dr Stephen Weller.
All travel requests will continue to require approval for the immediate future.
