We’re streamlining our internal communication channels to make it easier for you to find the information you need.
From April 2020, all Staff Bulletin content will be published on our staff communication and collaboration platform Workplace, rather than on the staff website. This means that when you click on an article link in the Staff Bulletin you will then access Workplace to view the full story.
This change will allow us to streamline our staff communication channels, providing you with a single key source of staff news, and reducing duplication. It is part of our continuous improvement work that aims to ensure that staff can get the news they need at the right time.
Results from the recent myVoice survey show that staff sentiment around cross-unit cooperation (‘knowledge and information are shared throughout ACU’), has increased by 15 per cent since 2017. This can in part be attributed to the introduction of Workplace. This year we plan to build on these results by providing you with the opportunity to read, engage, comment, ask questions and have discussions about staff news all in one place.
We’ll also be making other improvements over the coming months, including launching new Staff Bulletin content guidelines and an enhanced Staff Bulletin layout.
Selected news items that are of strategic importance and relevant to all staff will continue to be published on the staff website (in addition to being included the Staff Bulletin) to ensure this important information remains readily accessible to all staff across our internal channels.
More information about all the upcoming changes will be shared with you via the Staff Bulletin over the coming months.
In the meantime, if you have questions or feedback, please contact the Internal Communications team via internal.communications@acu.edu.au. Please include the subject line: Feedback – Internal Communications project.
