Register for Performance Review and Planning training

Training sessions are available to support staff and supervisors make the most of their performance and development conversations during the annual Performance Review and Planning (PRP) process.

Virtual training workshops are scheduled for the coming weeks to support staff and supervisors to make the most of their performance and development conversations and complete the annual Performance Review and Planning (PRP) process. Register now for either the staff or supervisor sessions.

The annual PRP process for professional staff has commenced. This process is an opportunity for staff and their supervisor to reflect on and recognise achievements, obstacles and opportunities and set goals. Key to this is discussing opportunities for development, growth, and career planning and how this can be achieved. The PRP process is this framework, together with aligning work with the University’s strategic priorities.

The annual PRP conversation between supervisors and professional staff is normally held between January and June and builds upon regular feedback and performance discussions that occur between staff and supervisors during the year. Staff should take the time to look at the PRP form and conversation guide and consider preparing for a career planning conversation.

Further guidance about the process including the submission of the PRP form is available on the staff website.

Conversation guides are available to provide support to both staff and supervisors to maximise the effectiveness of the process.
