ACU Engagement update:
One of the challenges ACU Engagement faced during the COVID-19 pandemic was how to help communities in need while social distancing? This is how Donation Bingo came about.
Back in May, you were invited to download the Donation Bingo Card, start collecting items, ticking them off the card as you go, and then box them up ready for donation. These much-needed items will go to our community partners for the Winter Warm Up, Donations for Dignity, and Threads of Change community giving drives, and will end up in the hands of their clients in need.
Visit the giving from home page to learn more about our community partners and how you can support our communities during this difficult time.
Now that all staff, with the exception of those based in Melbourne and Ballarat, have returned to campus, it is time to drop off your items (with your completed Bingo card) at the allocated collection points on your campus. If you are in Victoria, you can send a picture of your items to acuengagement@acu.edu.au and bring them in when it is safe to be back on campus.
The winner of Donation Bingo – the person with the most bingo boxes crossed off – will have $50 donated by ACU Engagement to an organisation of their choosing.
