ACU is committed to the emotional and physical wellbeing of its staff. As part of this commitment, all ACU staff can now download the free In Focus app, making it easier to access Employee Assistance Program services from our partner AccessEAP.
The In Focus app provides a direct call function for support and assistance 24/7, as well as the convenience of booking appointments and e-counselling.
In addition to easier access to services, the In Focus app helps explain what happens in an initial counselling session and debunks any common myths or social stigma held around counselling and mental health.
The guided meditation area can also provide recordings to assist with relaxation, sleep, mindfulness and preparing for a presentation. The weekly Check In feature encourages individuals to take charge of their own wellbeing and take stock of how they are feeling, with the results prompting and guiding users to pay more attention to their stress levels and needs.
Audio versions of content is available wherever possible, for ease of access on mobile devices.
Watch a brief video on the full range of EAP services available, including frequently requested resources such as health and wellbeing, career and workplace, financial security and legal concerns, and life events.
Download the free In Focus app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
