The ACU Alumni Awards are a special event for the ACU community. Since the event's inauguration in 2015, more than 20 ACU graduates have been recognised for their contribution and influence across communities. One of them was Dr Derek Chong, ACU’s Alumni of the Year in 2019.
As the Queensland’s first Indigenous psychiatrist, Dr Chong is on a mission to help Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians alike navigate the challenges around mental health, youth suicide and trauma.
Now more than ever, ACU is committed to celebrating the accomplishments of our outstanding alumni around the globe through six nomination categories, including two new opportunities for nominees:
