Open Access Week will run from 19-25 October, with this year’s theme being 'Open with Purpose: Taking Action to Build Structural Equity and Inclusion'. Access to scholarly resources has never been more important, as the 2020 global pandemic has shown.
The Library is working hard to ensure that everyone at ACU can easily discover open access resources for teaching, learning and research. Dedicated webpages and Library tools enable discovery of open access resources in the spirit of equitable and inclusive education.
The new Open Access for ACU Research (including theses) Policy outlines open access channels available to researchers and HDR students at ACU to enable the widest possible availability, distribution and reuse of their research by the wider community and around the world.
You can make your own research open by publishing in open access journals and by depositing your accepted manuscripts in ACU Research Bank. See the Library’s open access publishing webpage for more information.
The recently launched open access resources page makes it easier to locate open access (OA) and open education resources (OERs), enabling the use of freely available resources in reading lists.
The open access resources guide provides a range of resources for students for assessments and study at any time.
