Nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Staff Excellence Awards close on Monday 30 August.
We want to celebrate the impressive work happening across the university. Do you know a team that has made a difference to sustainability or reconciliation at ACU? Have you seen your peers provide extraordinary support to students or our community? Has your team done something worth shouting about?
Nominate someone now and help us to recognise their outstanding work.
Individual category award winners will receive $500 and winning teams will receive $2,500 (per team). The most outstanding nominee from the seven award categories will be awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal for Excellence and will receive $5,000 (if an individual) or $10,000 (if a team).
The awards nomination process has been streamlined this year to make it simpler and faster to nominate teams and individuals – or yourself. The award policy has also been updated to help you make a nomination.
The Staff Excellence Awards are open to all academic and professional staff members who have completed at least one year of service with ACU prior to their nomination date. You can nominate an individual or team, or even nominate yourself or your team. Anonymous nominations are also welcome.
Award categories this year are:
The new award for Excellence in Sustainability will recognise individuals or teams whose work has promoted or supported sustainable practices at ACU. For more information on this new category, watch National Manager (Sustainability) Mark Doggett share details of the new award.
