Visa Selection for Overseas Staff and Visitors Procedure | New procedure which provides information and practical advice to support hiring managers when considering prospective employees from overseas. This procedure should be read in conjunction with the Recruitment of Overseas Staff Procedure. |
Recruitment of Overseas Staff Procedure | New procedure which provides information and practical advice to support the recruitment of all international prospective employees and business visitors of the University, to hold a valid entry permit (Visa) before arrival in Australia. This procedure should be read in conjunction with the Recruitment and Selection Procedure. |
Participation of Staff in ER Guidelines Policy | General update of employment related committee information in line with the ACU Staff Enterprise Agreement 2017 - 2021 and updates to memberships of the Academic Promotions Committee. |
Staff Induction Policy |
Updated to reflect that staff induction is now online and includes updates to program components. |
Pre-Retirement Agreement Policy | Updated to reflect a changed approach to the application of the policy and associated staff benefits in pre-retirement agreements. |
Recreational Leave (including Annual Leave) Policy | Updated to clarify the conditions for purchased annual leave. |
Legal Requirement Training Policy | Changed to include a process of approval for programs to be included in legal requirement training. |
Employment of Sessional Academic Staff Policy | Update to item 6.1.2 under preparation for lecturers and tutorials with removal of "updating unit outlines and reading lists"; and item 6.4 under conditions of employment to clarify payment of academic activities. |
Salary Packaging Policy |
Revised to include 'ACU Sport Gym membership fee (Melbourne and North Sydney campus)' under 4.3.1.2 - Category A (FBT Exempt) Benefit Items. |
