Campus Ministry and ACU Engagement are pleased to announce that the Layers for Lent community giving initiative will be held on all campuses during the Lenten period, which runs from Wednesday 17 February until Thursday 2 April 2021.
During Lent, staff will be invited to donate warm blankets and winter clothing items such as coats, jumpers, scarves, gloves and beanies. These items will then be distributed to people in our local communities who are experiencing disadvantage, in time for the winter season.
Thanks to the generosity of ACU staff, well over 700 items were donated during Layers for Lent in 2019.
