LTC trust you have had a successful and enjoyable semester with your students and have recently emailed all applicable teaching staff their SELT interim individual report for Semester 1, 2021.
Access to interim reports for SELT surveys are now available through the ‘Evaluations’ block in LEO.
Individual reports for SELT survey results are generated based on the following criteria:
In the event any one of the above criteria was not met and an individual SELT report at Staff-CRN level was unavailable, respective staff have been informed via email from LTC Evaluations.
The university expects and encourages reflective practice in teaching, with student feedback as one of the important sources of information for reviewing and planning teaching strategies for units. All Extended Unit Outlines include a section relating to the feedback from previous student cohorts, and ideally lecturers in charge will discuss the findings in their current classes.
To assist in further understanding and interpreting the SELT survey report, resources are available on the ACU Learning and Teaching webpage. When reviewing critical comments from students, it may be beneficial to discuss with your Head of School (or equivalent), with further suggestions listed in the understanding and interpreting SELT evaluation data resource developed to support ACU staff.
Please see SELT Survey staff FAQs for further information (ACU login credentials required).
For any further clarification on SELT survey reporting, please contact LTC Evaluations.
