Library music collection

What do ‘Requiem for my friend’, ‘Spaghetti bolognaise’ and ‘Traditional Australian bush ballads’ have in common? They can all be found in the ACU library music collection.

What do we have?

The library music collection contains the perfect items for almost any musical purpose:

  • educational use including LEO
  • a comprehensive religious collection
  • a wide selection of physical music media such as CDs, DVDs and more
  • an extensive array of sheet music for voice, guitar, keyboard, violin, recorder, percussion, flute, piano, or a range of other instruments
  • databases with music to listen to or study.
How to find them?
  • For physical items, use library search. Look to the left for resource type limiters, such as scores, audio, video and physical resources.
  • For databases, a good place to start is with Music Online. Also go to the databases A-Z page and refine by resource type: audio.

We value your views on the library music collection and welcome your feedback on these questions:

  • What type of music do you use from the library?
  • How do you use it?
  • What stops you from using it?

Feel free to email any feedback to copyright.officer@acu.edu.au.
