As the higher education sector continues to transform and respond to the changing needs of students, building on your foundational knowledge and skills by expanding your knowledge and developing new skills is both critical and rewarding.
To support staff in their ongoing professional development, registrations are now open in Staff Connect to a variety of workshops and information sessions which form our 2021 Learning and Development Program.
Now is a good opportunity to discuss your learning and development goals with your supervisor, and record how these contribute to your career progression in your Progress Plan. The Progress Plan Conversation Guides for academic and professional staff are useful resources when planning these goals and activities.
There are still places available in the Communicating for Leadership Success workshop next Tuesday 30 March, 9.30am-1.30pm AEDT.
This workshop is designed for all staff and supports the development of effective communication. This skill is fundamental to successful leadership and an essential tool to maintain strong, lasting working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the university.
