Research Performance Review and Plan 2021

Preparations for the 2021 Research Performance Review and Plan (RPRP) process are underway.

Opening and closing dates for each RPRP submission stream are:

Open for submissions 10 May 10 May 17 May 17 May
Submission period closes 22 May 22 May 18 June 9 July

 

If you completed a RPRP in 2020, you will be eligible to complete a submission in line with one of the streams in the table above. You will receive an email on the day the submission stream opens. The email will provide submission options and a link to the online application form.

Staff who are seeking an X3 research workload who have not previously submitted a RPRP will need to submit a Standard/Full RPRP. You will be able to access the Standard/Full template from 22 May 2021 on the Academic Working Arrangements webpage.

Library support for Research Performance Review and Planning

The Library Research Impact Service can assist you to locate evidence to substantiate a statement of research quality in several ways:

  • Show you how to access and use tools that provide basic citation overview and journal/publisher quality data. These include Scopus, Web of Science, Incites, and Journal Citation Reports. You can also get help to access and use the Altmetric Explorer for Institutions database to provide an indication of online attention your research publications have received outside of academia.
  • Provide you with a research impact report, containing a metric/altmetric analysis of your research publications within the scope of the RPRP. A minimum two-week lead time to deliver reports for individuals is required (longer lead times are required for reports for groups).
