Each year we celebrate the exceptional contribution, leadership, and innovation of our outstanding alumni around the globe through six nomination categories:

We're introducing our Alumni Awards 2021 winners and sharing how they’re making a difference in their communities across the world.

This week, the Advancement and Alumni team is very proud to announce the winners of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership Award, Sarah MacDonald, and the International Contribution Award, Consolata Njoki Muthee.

Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership Award

Sarah Macdonald studied Master of Teaching at ACU. She founded Canine Comprehension, bringing therapy dogs to schools to help vulnerable children get to a place where they are ready to learn. She is a mental health advocate empowering other people to be open and honest about their mental health journey.

International Contribution Award

Consolata Njoki Muthee is originally from Kenya and studied social work at ACU. She now works as a lifestyle coordinator at an aged care facility. She is also the founder of Inspire Y.G. (Young Generation), an initiative that empowers young people to pursue their dreams.
