Inaugural SACRU graduate research seminar

The inaugural SACRU Research Student Seminar will be held from 8-11 November on the theme ‘A sustainable future: Research delivering impact for the 21st century.’

Over 20 students from across the Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities (SACRU) network will present their research in relation to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and the goals of Laudato si’, Pope Francis’s encyclical on caring for our common home.

ACU graduate research students are invited to attend the online event to gain insight into topical research related to sustainability in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The seminar will provide an opportunity to raise questions and join discussions on a range of contemporary social issues, as well as participate in a professional development session focused on writing abstracts, led by highly experienced researchers from Boston College in the United States and ACU’s Professor Peter Wilson.

Please encourage your research students to attend.

The inaugural SACRU Research Student Seminar is the first in a series of events. We look forward to seeing new research links emerge from the connections sparked at these sessions.
