The Spring 2021 graduation ceremonies, scheduled for October, were disrupted by COVID-19 lockdowns and ceremonies were postponed to December. We’re pleased to announce that Sydney graduation ceremonies can now proceed within a COVID-safe framework and pending any further disruptions.

Our students’ university experience culminates with their graduation. It is a significant event in the university’s calendar and an opportunity for staff to offer a final show of support and celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates.
All staff with a university degree or diploma are welcome to participate in the academic procession at the ceremonies.
There will be two ceremonies in Sydney, held at Rosehill Gardens:
All Sydney-based staff are invited to participate in the ceremonies and assist with ceremonial and event activities on the day such as graduate registration, crowd logistics, and graduate briefing.
All staff participating in the graduation event must submit the Staff Registration for Graduation form available in Service Central. Registration will close on Thursday 2 December.
Staff requiring ACU academic regalia for the academic procession must hire it via Service Central before the applicable closing date.
We look forward to seeing you at Graduation in celebration of the achievements of our students and staff.
Under the NSW Government’s current Roadmap to Recovery plan, a large public event like graduation can proceed with certain public health and safety measures in place. These measures are subject to change and any restrictions that apply to large gatherings and hospitality venues may impact the proposed ceremonies accordingly.
