Critical Conversations

Join the first Critical Conversations webinar hosted by the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN), to discuss the topic, ‘The challenge of inclusive Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and the consequence of not prioritising it’.

The conversation will focus on the issues underpinning student engagement through a disability lens.

This free session will provide an overview of current research findings which indicate that universities do not sufficiently understand how students with disability think about their careers.

The Centre for Education and Innovation encourages all staff to attend to join the discussion around current issues facing WIL practitioners.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join breakout groups to discuss key questions such as:

  • How can WIL be structured to develop the way equity students think about their careers?
  • How does your organisation define and measure employability?
  • What would help you make WIL more inclusive for Students with disability (SwD) and Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP) students?
