Mental health phone support for ACU students in crisis will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from 1 September. Staff can also use this service to access advice and assistance if they are supporting a student in distress. The increased availability of this service will be trialled for six months.

The ACU 24-hour Mental Health Support Line provides immediate help for students to manage their distress, explore short-term coping options, reduce risk of harm, and learn more about other supports available to them.

The Counselling Service continues to provide assistance for ACU students through individual counselling, delivery of targeted workshops, Mental Health First Aid Training courses, promoting mental health events on campus and through our online resources.
Students wishing to speak with a counsellor can book an appointment online using Unihub, or check out all that we have to offer via the Counselling Service page on the Student Portal.
