We support flexible working arrangements to assist staff to balance work and life responsibilities.
Anyone can request flexibility and working flexibly differs for each team member. Some examples are changing hours of work, changing patterns of work, changing the location of work, and compressing hours in a working week.
It is important to consider each individual and their needs in balance with your team and the requirements of each role. We encourage supervisors to discuss flexible work proposals with each team member, reflecting on how you and your team may overcome any barriers and identify opportunities.
To support you in navigating flexible working arrangements in your team, HR are hosting several supervisor drop-in sessions. The sessions will focus on supporting you to hold conversations with your team, as well as the application process and resources available to you. You will have the opportunity to ask an HR representative any questions about flexible working arrangements.
