Defining the future of ACU

A message from the Vice-Chancellor Professor Zlatko Skrbis.

ACU Vision 2033

I am pleased to announce that the process for developing ACU’s next strategic plan has commenced.

This is an exciting time for the university, and I would like to invite you all to participate.

The next planning horizon, ACU Vision 2033, will expand over ten years. This extended timespan will help us move from developing short-term tactical plans to setting out a long-term, visionary outlook for ACU.

It also allows us to adopt a mindset that is both imaginative and courageous.

Initial consultations will begin at the next meeting of the University Consultative Committee on 30 June. Soon after, a Green Paper will be produced to provide an initial frame of reference for consultations with staff, students, alumni, stakeholders, and other members of the ACU community.

During these consultations, you will be given the opportunity to consider what the university should look like, what our priorities should be, and where we can make the most impact.

Through this process, we will identify our ambitions for ACU and decide the university’s strategic direction for the coming decade.

In short, ACU Vision 2033 will define the future of ACU.

The Green Paper and consultation schedule will be shared with you soon, and I look forward to your contributions.
