GIVE talk with JAM the label

Join ACU alumni Emma Clegg and Molly Rogers on 24 March for the second AGILE Global Impact of Value and Excellence (GIVE) Talk.

JAM is an inclusive clothing label created by Emma and Molly, two young occupational therapists who met while studying at ACU and working as disability support workers.

The pair identified a serious need in the Australian market for on-trend, inclusive clothing, and they wanted to ensure that young people living with disability had access to fashion that was not compromised by functionality.

The Australian fashion industry is generally targeted to the mainstream population, and largely excludes the one in five people in the country who have a disability. JAM is determined to change fashion not only in Australia, but around the world.

Since JAM launched in 2019, the label is now stocked by three digital retailers – including THE ICONIC – and is set to appear at Australian Fashion Week 2022.

Why did Emma and Molly create JAM? How did they do it? What drives them? Do not miss this opportunity to find out how two young Australian entrepreneurs saw a gap in the market and decided to make a positive impact through an ethical and business-savvy initiative.
