The Centre for Education and Innovation is offering a range of online webinars and self-paced training units to access anytime in LEO. These webinars offer opportunities to help teaching staff who are either new to teaching at ACU, or simply in need of a refresher, to prepare for Semester 1.
You can enroll into the self-paced training units, designed for those new to ACU or who are using LEO for the first time. Each unit takes approximately one hour and on completion you will earn the LEO badge to add to your LEO profile and a certificate of successful completion which can be used for your professional learning.
Getting started - Learn how to access and navigate LEO, locate support, communicate with staff and students.
Managing units - Learn how to create and roll over units, enrol staff and your roles and responsibilities as an LIC (Lecture-in-Charge)
The Centre for Education and Innovation will also run a range of online webinars throughout the semester. These sessions will be run via Zoom and offer opportunities for activities, reflection and discussion for those who are either new to teaching at ACU, preparing units in LEO or looking to enhance their online units and effective workflows.
For information about session times, please visit the Teaching online workshops and drop-ins page on the CEI webpage or CEI@acu.edu.au if you have further questions.
