Equity @ ACU week

Join us for Equity @ ACU Week next week, 10–14 October, to recognise and celebrate ACU’s diverse community, and commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice. Events for staff and students will be running throughout the week at all campuses.

The Equity @ ACU Week is an opportunity to reflect on our understanding of equity, share practice, learn about emerging ideas and approaches, and explore cultural and structural change for future impact.

Equity @ ACU Symposium

Staff are encouraged to register for the Equity @ ACU Symposium, held from 12–13 October. This professional learning event will give you an opportunity to hear from leaders and experts from across the higher education sector, as well as ACU staff and students.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Dylan Alcott AOM, 2022 Australian of the Year and Disability Advocate
  • Professor Penny Jane Burke, Global Innovation Chair of Equity and Director of the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education, University of Newcastle
  • Professor Maria Raciti, Director of the Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre, University of Sunshine Coast

See the Equity @ ACU Symposium program
