Embracing Change
Wednesday 16 November, 9.30am–1.30pm AEDT
Audience: all staff
This program focuses on the role of individuals in implementing change. Participants discover their Change IQ, learn about the phases of change that many people experience and are introduced to best practices that will enable them to tackle and overcome challenges.
Delegate: Engage and Empower People
Tuesday 8 November, 9.30am–1.30pm AEDT
Audience: supervisors
Learners dig into their workload to identify tasks they’d never consider delegating, using methods for matching people to tasks they’re both motivated and capable of doing. There will be opportunity to practice the delegation conversation to ensure success.
Declaration of Interest Policy
Wednesday 9 November, 11am–12pm AEDT
Audience: supervisors
An educational workshop has been developed to assist supervisors to understand what is required of them under the policy and ensure they are well placed to support their staff through the declaration process.
Starting a Career Conversation for Supervisors
Thursday 10 November, 10am–12.30pm AEDT
Audience: supervisors
This program equips leaders with the confidence and framework to hold positive career discussions with staff. You'll be guided through a proven and strategic road map that will help hone your skillset to build a powerful pipeline of talent.
WHS Action Plan Lunch Box
Tuesday 15 November, 12.30pm–1.30pm AEDT
Audience: all staff
To familiarise and help to gain an understanding of your contribution to achieving the goals of the new WHS Action Plan.
The Role of Chair
Wednesday 23 November, 10am–11.30am AEDT
Audience: hiring managers
Gain a greater understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process and the role and responsibilities of the Selection Committee Chair. How to ensure the process is equitable, transparent, timely and that all candidates have a positive experience.
Setting Goals and Reviewing Results
Thursday 24 November, 9.30am–1.30pm AEDT
Audience: all staff
This course will show the positive effect of shifting the traditional role of planner and evaluator from the leader to a shared responsibility between leader and employee. This shift builds employee ownership and allows the leader to focus on coaching and developing throughout the performance cycle. Leaders will experience how to use effective SMART goals to help them and their employees track progress and fairly evaluate outcomes.
