This Mission Week, ACU Engagement is spotlighting our community partners and engagement opportunities. Help live our mission by applying for Community Engagement Time Release (CETR).
At ACU, we value community engagement as a key means of advancing our mission in serving the common good and enhancing the dignity and wellbeing of people and communities.
Through the Community Engagement Time Release policy, staff are provided with up to five days or 35 hours per calendar year to participate in community-based activities (during normal working hours). These community-based activities are usually undertaken with our community engagement partners and contribute to the common good in working to address social justice issues in the community and help those who are experiencing disadvantage and/or marginalisation.
You can help to bring ACU’s mission to life by applying for CETR at any time throughout the year.
CETR opportunities are available with either the community organisations that ACU Engagement have partnered with, or any organisation that aligns with your interests while supporting the ACU mission.
You can learn more about our Mission Week spotlighted partners and activities by engaging with us in our ACU Engagement Workplace group or email acuengagement@acu.edu.au.
For more information about CETR you can view the Community Engagement Time Release policy and submit an application via Service Central.
