Attend an introductory or advanced EndNote skills workshop via Zoom to learn how to better manage, search, and share references for your research.

EndNote is a personal bibliographic software program that allows you to organise your references and build bibliographies for theses, research papers and more.

Introduction to EndNote 20

Introduction to EndNote training is recommended for researchers and postgraduate students. During this webinar you will learn how to:

  • set up an EndNote library
  • export references from a library database
  • find full text and attach PDF files
  • search, sort, and group references
  • choose a referencing style to use with EndNote
  • use EndNote with Microsoft Word to insert citations and create a bibliography.

Advanced EndNote for ACU staff and researchers

These sessions are designed for EndNote users who want to learn some of the advanced features of EndNote to save time and avoid common problems. Participants should already have a reasonable working knowledge of EndNote software. This webinar will cover functions including:

  • using advanced functions (such as deduplication, the ratings feature and smart groups) to manage literature or systematic reviews
  • adding your own labels and research notes to references in EndNote
  • downloading and modifying an EndNote output style
  • journal title abbreviations using terms lists.
