ALLY Network training

Join the ACU ALLY Network and register to attend upcoming virtual training sessions.

The Ally Network at ACU is a visible network of staff who support the university’s pastoral commitment to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for students and staff who identify as being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex or queer, or as having any other sexually or gender diverse identity (LGBTIQ+).

The training sessions are an opportunity for you to learn about LGBTIQ+ issues and ways that you can contribute to providing an affirming environment for LGBTIQ+ students and staff.

There are three virtual training sessions for the first half of this year:

  • Thursday 9 March 1pm–4pm (AEDT)
  • Monday 17 April 9.30am–12.30pm (AEST)
  • Monday 29 May 9.30am–12.30pm (AEST)

If you are interested in joining the ACU ALLY Network and/or attending a training session, please submit an expression of interest. If you can’t attend the scheduled training sessions, you’re still welcome to submit an expression of interest so we can notify you about future training opportunities.
