Exploring diverse graduate pathways – webinar

The Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) is hosting a webinar on supporting diverse graduate career pathways.

Although narratives about graduate careers often imply a relatively direct or linear transition from study to full-time employment, research suggests this transition is complex and that a proportion of graduates pursue self-directed employment options.

The presentation will help you gain an understanding of strategies graduates have used to pursue self-directed career pathways including freelancing, entrepreneurship and portfolio careers. Showcasing these examples will prompt important discussion and reflection about the role universities and educators can play in supporting students to pursue diverse graduate pathways.

Chapter Led Conversations provide a platform for discussion around current issues facing Work Integrated Learning (WIL) practitioners, with ACU staff invited to attend. If you are interested, please complete the online registration form.
