Soon all staff will be able to reset their own ACU passwords using Self-Service Password Reset. Here’s what you need to know.
Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) uses two multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods to verify your identity and allows you to securely reset your own ACU password.
SSPR will be enabled on all staff accounts later in July. It will replace the current password reset system (which will be decommissioned by the end of the year). SSPR will allow all staff to reset their own ACU password without contacting Service Central.
SSPR requires two authentication methods, so later in July, after you log into an MFA-protected system, you’ll be prompted to either:
You can choose from the following authentication methods:
SSPR is not currently compulsory, so you can skip setup for a short time. However, you will be prompted every time you log in and it will become compulsory in the coming months. It is therefore recommended that you set up SSPR immediately.
Registration instructions will be published on Service Central and distributed through IT Advisories and Workplace posts prior to rollout. If you have any questions or queries, please contact Service Central.
