Submission and request deadlines

Due to the transferred NSW Bank Holiday to Friday 22 December, end-of-year operations will vary from service to service. These changes to operations are listed below for each directorate, with offices closing at 5pm for that location unless detailed.
The NSW campuses together with its Properties and Facilities directorate staffing will be closed from Friday 22 December 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive.
The ACT, VIC and QLD campuses together with their P&F directorate staff will close from 5pm Friday 22 December 2023 and re-open on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
During this time student and staff access cards will be rendered inoperable – if you have a business requirement to be onsite, please submit a Service Central request including the appropriate approval.
The Marketing and External Relations offices in North Sydney will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. MER offices in all other states will close from 3pm on 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.

The AskACU/ACU Online Future Student enquiries centre will close from 1pm on 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. However, the email inbox will be checked and cleared during that period except on public holidays
IT offices in North Sydney will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. IT Offices in all other states will shut from 23 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
P&C’s North Sydney offices will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
P&C Offices in all other states will shut from 3pm on 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
The Finance Directorate office in North Sydney will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. Brisbane and Melbourne offices will close from 23 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
Enrolments, Course Completions, Fees, Academic Progress & Scholarships will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. Graduations, Admissions, Curriculum Management, Timetabling, Exams & Results will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
Office of Academic Registrar, Student Systems, and Policy will close from 21 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
North Sydney, Strathfield and Blacktown AskACU Centres will close from 1pm, 21 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. All other AskACU Centres and the Contact Centre will close from 1pm 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
Service Central will close from 1pm on 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
Service Improvement Team will be closed from 1pm on 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
The Office of General Counsel and Governance Directorate will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. Due to planned staff leave there will be limited services available in the first two weeks of January 2024.
The office of the COO will close from 21 December 2023 to 10 January 2024 inclusive.
Under the recent change plans, Student Support Services has been expanded and rebadged to Student Experience and will sit in the new Education Portfolio. Student Experience on NSW campuses will close 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. All other campuses will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
The Sport, Wellbeing and Residential Life Directorate will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
The Tracks in North Sydney, Strathfield, Blacktown and Canberra, will close from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
The Tracks in Brisbane, Ballarat, and Melbourne will close from 23 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive.
ACU Medical Centre North Sydney will close from 22 December 2023 and will reopen 2 January 2024.
ACU Medical Centre Brisbane will close from 15 December 2023 and will reopen 3 January 2024. Appointments are available from 4 January 2024.
ACU Medical Centre Melbourne will close from 23 December 2023 and will reopen 2 January 2024.
ACU Active (gym) North Sydney and Melbourne will be unstaffed from 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024 inclusive. ACU Active will remain open for unstaffed access during this time, other than the public holidays when the gyms will be completely closed on 25 and 26 December 2023 and 1 January 2024.
Student Accommodation in Sydney, Ballarat and Canberra will remain open during the holiday period. Residences will be staffed by Residential Advisors, with full-time staff on call during the shutdown period.
