The Centre for Education and Innovation (CEI) offers a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (GHCE) to advance your career as a tertiary educator. This course equips you with a sound theoretical and scholarly foundation to inform the development of your academic practice and enhance our students’ learning experience.
The course is structured as follows:
With a focus on work-integrated learning (WIL), you will engage in learning activities that directly relate to and benefit your professional development. The GCHE aims to model good practice and ensure your learning experience is transparently relevant and strategically beneficial.
You are eligible to have your fees waived if you are a teaching academic, including sessional staff or professional staff members who have a role leading teaching and learning at the School or Faculty level. Importantly, you must be employed by ACU at the time.
If you are interested in enrolling, click the apply button on the course page. Enrolments for the upcoming intake will close on Friday 15 September 2023 and the micro-credential will commence on Monday 25 September.
For further information on the structure of the course, please visit CEI's Graduate Certificate in Higher Education webpage. If you have any questions, please discuss your eligibility with CEI today.
