Equity @ ACU Week shines a light on the work that is taking place across our university to embed equity in everything we do. Join your colleagues from now until 26 September for Equity @ ACU activities.

Equity Week will conclude with the launch of ACU’s new Widening Participation plan at the Equity Symposium 25-26 September.

Register now for the online symposium with sessions from 25-26 September. Sessions are available to all education-based stakeholders and communities with attendees able to opt-in for their choice of sessions.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Professor Penny Jane Burke: A UNESCO Chair in Equity, Social Justice and Higher Education and Director of the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education, University of Newcastle.
  • Professor Mark Rose: Pro Vice-Chancellor, Indigenous Strategy and Innovation, Deakin University and ACU alumnus.
  • Professor Sarah O’Shea: Honorary Professorial Fellow in the School of Education, Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Dean, Graduate Research at Charles Sturt University.
  • Professor Sally Kift: Higher Education Academy (PFHEA), a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law (FAAL), and President of the Australian Learning & Teaching Fellows (ALTF).
