Academic Promotions committees

Eligible academic staff will soon be able to self-nominate to join the Academic Promotions committees to assess applications for promotions. Keep an eye out for the email if interested.

Academic Promotions committees are responsible for assessing applications for promotion in accordance with ACU’s policies and procedures for members of academic staff.

These elections seek nominations to fill positions across all promotion committees by and from the academic staff of ACU. The elected members and/or academic observers will be appointed for a three-year term of office.

Vacancies exist across:

  • level E Academic Promotions committees
  • level D faculty sub-committees – FEA, FHS, FLB, FTP
  • level B/C faculty sub-committees – FEA, FHS, FLB, FTP

The election will be conducted via the BigPulse electronic electoral platform. If more nominations are received than positions available, the election will proceed to a ballot.

More information about the Academic Promotions Committees is available in Schedule 1 – Academic Promotions Committees.
