A message from acting Chief Operating Officer Paul Campbell:
Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Process Improvement Survey. The survey results will ensure we can focus our attention on the key processes that cause difficulty for staff and students.
More than 350 staff across the university took part in the survey, including an even mix of professional and academic staff, which provided a balanced picture of the staff experience.
Your feedback will help the Professional Services Hubs and Service Improvement Team better understand which processes have a significant impact on the university and require attention.
You provided feedback about a range of processes across directorates and portfolios, particularly around Student Administration, Finance, People and Capability and the Provost Portfolio.
Feedback received through the survey, including suggestions for improvements, has been shared with the service leads responsible for relevant processes.
The results of the survey, alongside input from the relevant service leads, will help us to determine our process improvement priorities for the next 12 months.
We will be focusing on improvements to the processes that will have the most significant impact across the university.
It is anticipated that a 2024/2025 process improvement plan will be developed by mid-year, pending VCAC endorsement.
We will keep you updated on how we are making enhancements to processes across ACU and how this will improve your experience.
